EARLY ALERT

       Welcome to EARLY ALERT!

Fullerton College is committed to helping students be successful.  Early Alert has been developed

through a Title V-HSI grant to help meet this goal.  Early Alert allows instructors to provide timely information

(beginning the 4-7th week of a course) about academic progress to their students. Instructors simply log

on to "myfc login" and click on the Early Alert tab to access their current course roster(s) listed by CRN #.

Click on a CRN # and the roster will appear. Next to each student name are various alerts geared to

notify students if they are "at risk" or not.  Once an instructor checks alerts for students and submits,

the information is sent to a database from which emails are generated to notify students.

Note: emails will be sent to the email address assigned to each student which is in the following

format:  "studentid#@fullcoll.edu". Students can also access early alerts at "myfc login"

(login is student id and password is birthday (mmddyy) and click on the Early Alert tab.

See below on how to forward FC email to another address.

In addition to this timely feedback, students are also made aware of services and resources the colleges

offers to assist them.  The program is entirely voluntary and an instructor chooses which students

he/she wishes to alert.  Select items below to see more details of Early Alert program components:
